What is CELPIP?¶
CELPIP (Canadian English Language Proficiency Index Program) is a computer-based English language test that measures your ability to communicate in English in everyday situations.
Why CELPIP?¶
CELPIP is accepted for:
- Permanent Residency - Express Entry, Provincial Nominee Programs
- Canadian Citizenship - Proof of language proficiency
- Professional Designation - Some regulatory bodies accept CELPIP

Scoring¶
CELPIP uses levels from M (minimal) to 12 (advanced):
