Test Structure

The CELPIP-General test has 4 sections completed in one sitting (~3 hours).

1. Listening (47-55 minutes)

Key Points: - Audio plays ONCE only - Canadian/North American accents - Multiple choice questions

2. Reading (55-60 minutes)

Test Day Tips

  1. Arrive early - 30 minutes before
  2. Bring valid ID - Government-issued photo ID
  3. Get comfortable - Adjust chair, headset, screen
  4. Use all your time - Don't rush, don't leave early
